Announcement + Top Book Recommendations

Hi Friends!

In this short post, I share an announcement as well as my top book recommendations for two related topics:

1) Compassion, self compassion and wisdom for healing and growth

2) Positive Psychology

So, some major changes have been happening here, and I can't wait to share some of them with you.

After a year now in private practice, I've decided to join a wonderful company, BetterUp, as a Behavioral Scientist. In my role there, I'll be working with companies to design, deliver and evaluate interventions aimed at improving the wellbeing of their employees. While we’re starting this work with corporations, the goal is to bring the greatest tools for improving wellbeing to as many people as possible.

Joining this company gives me the opportunity to reach more people and have greater impact, not to mention the chance to work with some really wonderful humans and get back into research. All in all, I expect to learn a lot about how to improve the wellbeing of our working population, and I can’t wait to share what I learn with you.

Its been such a pleasure this past year to design workshops and courses and bring them to you, and I very much intend to keep doing so, so stay tuned.

Now, since I’ve received many requests for this, I figured I’d share some of my favorite ever book recommendations:
